Throughout 2015, Independent Safety Services Limited has trained 1,434 people in correct waste management and dangerous goods practices. The busiest month was January with 250 people trained. The last year has also seen the most delegates trained in a single year, beating the record set in 2014 by 517. Seventy five people have already been trained in 2016. In total, ISSL has trained 4,731 people since February 2011. Clients include hospitals, primary care trusts, mental health institutions, prison services, teaching hospitals, medical research laboratories and private health providers. The training we deliver is an integral component to achieving the high standards required by waste management and dangerous goods legislation.
The training that ISSL provides is undertaken by fully qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers and experienced waste management auditors, whose qualifications include membership of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management.
