A two day seminar from the Healthcare Waste and Resources Research Group (HWRRG), The University of Northampton and the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) is taking place next week on 14th and 15th April at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London. The seminar will examine the management of waste from healthcare facilities in Europe and beyond and includes a site visit to a treatment facility on the second day.
Key themes being covered over the two days are:
- Planning for and response to emergencies;
- The sustainability agenda within the healthcare sector; and
- Treatment technologies (current and emerging).
