Dr. Anne Woolridge becomes an International Waste Manager

ISSL is pleased to announce that today Dr. Anne Woolridge, Technical Director, has successfully passed her professional interview to become an International Waste Manager with the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA). This is the highest level of membership possible and acknowledges her professionalism, understanding and skills in the field of waste & resource management.

Anne has been recognised for her outstanding knowledge of the waste management situation in the UK and how this relates to the worldwide management of wastes and resources. Furthermore, the work Anne has done as a member of the ISWA Healthcare Waste Working Group, including as chair, has allowed her to develop an in-depth, specialised knowledge of healthcare waste management from developing to highly developed nations and those in between.
