Independent Safety Services Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Anne Woolridge as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Anne has been ISSL’s Chief Operating Officer since 2018 and prior to that was the Technical Director since 2010. She is a well-known figure in the healthcare waste management field and advises on waste management and policy at a national level as well as actively working directly with ISSL clients. She is widely recognised for her contributions to the development of safe and sustainable waste and resource management solutions

In her new role, Dr. Woolridge will lead Independent Safety Services Ltd in strengthening its position as a trusted provider of expert safety services. She will focus on building upon the company’s strong foundation, driving innovation, and ensuring continued excellence in delivering tailored support to clients across sectors.

Commenting on her appointment, Dr. Woolridge said:

The Board of Directors look forward to the continued growth and success of the organisation under Anne’s leadership. Having set up Independent Safety Services Ltd in 1996 and developing the company for 30 years Alan has taken the decision to step back from the day to day management but will remain as a Director on the Board.  ISSL as a whole team thank him for his ongoing support.
