1,646 people trained by ISSL in 2023

Independent Safety Services Limited trained 1,646 people in correct waste management and dangerous goods practices in 2023. This will ensure that staff are aware of correct and legal practices with regards to waste management, including segregation, and carriage of dangerous goods.

Since February 2011, ISSL has trained 12,660 people. Clients include hospitals, primary care trusts, mental health institutions, prison services, teaching hospitals, medical research laboratories and private health providers. The training we deliver is an integral component to achieving the high standards required by waste management and dangerous goods legislation.

The training that ISSL provides is undertaken by fully qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers and experienced waste management auditors, whose qualifications include membership of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM). ISSL strives for the highest quality of training as we believe that providing such detailed and personalised services can help to establish excellent working practices of both waste management and dangerous goods awareness for staff.
